Postpartum Happy Hour
Becoming a new parent is exciting; but can also be overwhelming and isolating. The Village Playspace wants to help you build your mom village & navigate the post-partum period. Each month, we will have a featured expert, who will provide information and insight about the valuable support they provide new parents. Each expert will then join the group for discussion, questions, and socializing.
Postpartum Happy Hour
This is not a “five o’clock Somewhere” PARTY. Because parents Everywhere know a 5 PM party is a meltdown party.
Come join us for the actual PARENT happy hour(s)! Enjoy adult conversation, mocktails and light fare. (real pants not required but always admired)

Upcoming PPHH: Wednesday, April 29th, 12:30 - 2:00 PM, Dr. Jess Danahy, Pelvic Floor Specialist and Founder of Run RX.
Dr. Jess Danahy is a physical therapist and pelvic floor specialist at The Run RX. She has a background in orthopedics and women’s health, with a special passion for helping women stay active through pregnancy and confidently return to exercise postpartum. Jess works with active individuals of all levels and believes movement should feel empowering, not intimidating.
This workshop will focus on understanding and reconnecting with your body after pregnancy. Jess will give an overview of the abdominal and pelvic floor muscles, how pregnancy and postpartum impact them, and how to tap back into them. We’ll also talk through common postpartum concerns such as diastasis recti, urinary leakage, and pelvic organ prolapse. The session will wrap up with guidance on returning to exercise postpartum — what to consider, how to build gradually, and how to feel more confident getting back to movement.
